John Dickens
He was born in 4/2/1863 in Wythevill, Va..
At age 17, he enlisted in the war and served in Co. G 45th Inf. CSA.
At Hillsville, he transferred to the 54th Va. in 1/16/1863 in south Quay.
He became sick and was in Catoosa Hospital, Griffin, Ga. and died there.
He was taken home after the war and reburied.
