LOVELL FAMILY HISTORY
I will be adding information about the Lovell's as the page develops. This will be an ongoing project.
I have made two contacts on the Internet, both are cousins of mine who I didn't know I had. The first one I met is Everette Martin, who lives in Walkertown, Nouth Carolina.Everette grew up in Snowville, VA. Everette has sent me names of Hattie Lee Lovell's [my Grandmother] brothers and sisters who I didn't know.Everette's Mother [Nellie] was my Grandmothers sister.Thank you Everette!

The other cousin is Douglas E. Lovell, who lives in Columbus, Ohio. Douglas has sent me these photos of some of the family. If you know any of these people or have information about any of them, please E-Mail me or write to Douglas Lovell.Douglas's father disappeared some 25 years ago and has not been heard from since. He would really like some closesure on this matter.Below is a photo of Douglas's father and some information about the mystery.

Disappearance Of Earl Milton Lovell. Milton was the son of Irving Wesley Lovell and Mayda Clarice Wimmer. His birthdate was May 8, 1923. After visiting with his parents during the summer of 1970; he supposedly got on a bus heading back to Newport News,VA. to his family. He got off the bus and purchased an automobile In Christianburg, Virginia on September 7, 1970. This automobile was found in Giles County, Virginia near Pearisburg or Narrows in an area known as " No Business Mountain ". All of his personal possessions were intact. Due to a head injury during the war; he was prone to Grand Mal Seizures which were regulated with heavy medication. It is very doubtful that he could survive without this medication. Anyone with any knowledge about hes disappearance or whereabouts is asked to contact his son at the following address. Any information concerning this issue of importance will be greatly appreciated.

MY GRANDMOTHER'S FIRST MARRIAGE WAS TO THOMAS RATCLIFF. THOMAS SERVED IN THE 24TH. VIRGINIA INFANTRY IN GENERAL KEMPER'S BRIGADE.THOMAS WAS 63 WHEN HE MARRIED MY GRANDMOTHER WHO WAS 19 AT THE TIME. AFTER THOMAS DIED, SHE HAD A FAMILY TO RAISE AND SHE MARRIED MY GRANDFATHER WILLIAM M. STUMP. MY BELOVED GRANDMOTHER DIED JAN. 15,1963.AT THE AGE OF 74.
